WR Oatmeal Stout

This robust, full-bodied Oatmeal Stout pours black & retains a dense tan head. Aromas of roast coffee dominate with an underlying grainy sweetness from the oats. Hops take a backseat here as the malt bill takes center stage offering flavors reminiscent of milk chocolate. A perfect beer keep you warm.

BITTERING HOPS: Styrian Aurora
MALTS: Baird’s Maris Otter, Dark Crystal & Black Malt; Flaked Oats

We brewed this beer in collaboration with our friends at The Growler Magazine in support of the release of their home brewing recipe book, “The Mashmaker”. We turned that event into a wort rally where enthusiasts could bring 5 gallons of the wort we made here home to ferment & enjoy. We kept a small amount of wort here to put on tap as well.
